Royal Rochester for it’s Modernistic Tableware line is a rare find. It was designed to be part of a dynamic trio of “useful” designs for the Art Deco Home. The waffle iron, batter bowl and syrup dispenser are uniquely stylized , highest quality, well made items intended for the kitchen. This is a spectacular 3 piece Royal Rochester Coffee Service including an electric coffee percolator, sugar and creamer. It’s a pattern you do not see often and was so much more “avant grade” than other items produced by the company in this era.” Modernistic ” is the pattern name and one look at the amazing colors and designs will show you just why this is sought after by Art Deco collectors! . R Manufactured by the partnership of Robeson “Royal” Rochester and Electric Appliance and Fraunfelter Fine China. Their line of Royalite Chinaware was specially designed for cooking ,heating and serving. Our vast array was purchased directly from a retired collector who spent many years amassing the pieces we can now offer you. In addition to the Coffee Set, we also have some of the very obscure demi-tassecoffee cups with metal holders, the waffle iron, batter bowl, syrup dispenser, covered casserole, pie plate, tea set, chocolate set and more! but more recently featured in a museum as part of the “Life and Style in the Age of Art Deco” exhibition at the SFO Museum at the San Francisco Airport.
