Large unglazed light earthenware plate with raised design from the "Tormented Face" series . Produced by Madoura in 1956. Numbered 13 of an edition of 100. Stamped to base: 'C117 Madoura Plein Feu, Empreinte Originale de Picasso' and numbered in fired slip 13/100. Plate diameter 42 cm. Excellent condition.
