Victorian Classical sterling silver punchbowl on plateau. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass., ca 1910. Bellied and fluted bowl with turned-down and scrolled mouth rim and raised and scrolled foot. Plateau has mirrored well and scrolled and spread base. Dynamic ornament chased and applied with surging scallop shells meandering scrolling leaves. Perfect for fermented refreshment.
Fully marked including maker’s stamp and nos. 205A (bowl) and 205 (plateau). Bowl has volume (16 pints). Very good condition.
