Modern Classical sterling silver scallop shell. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass. in 1941. Tapering bowl with dynamic twisted flutes and scalloped rim. Valve rim is cast tendril-entwined fruiting grapevine. Three fruiting grapevine supports. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. RS98. Very good condition.
