Midcentury Modern sterling silver mini martini shaker. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass., ca 1939. Straight and tapering sides, curved shoulder, and short neck. Snugly fitting bun cover and stubby spout with chained ball cap. On cover top is chased medallion from the American Chemical Society commemorating the centennial of Charles Goodyear’s advances in rubber production in 1839. All the essential features in small scale. Fully marked including maker’s and retailer’s (Shreve, Crump & Low) stamps. Very good condition.
