Description
Rene Lalique clear glass 'Satyre' decanter, with brown patina details. Has a bulbous shaped bottle, with a handle on one side. The base of the handle is in the form of a satyr head with long horns curving up to form the handle. The glass stopper has a geometric pattern of leaves and grapes. Inscribed makers mark, 'R Lalique pour Cusenier' and '30/1' to the base. Book reference: 'R. LALIQUE Catalogue Raisonne De L'Oeuvre De Verre', by Felix Marcilhac. Les Editions De L'Amateur.
