    For your consideration we have an exquisite 18th Century cream jug.

    This piece was made by Worcester and designed by Robert Hancock. The black transferware scenes of scholars in a garden of ancient ruins on one side and a woman bathing in a pool of water on the other side.

    This rare piece in black transferware was the first color used by Worcester for Robert Hancock. There is a thin black line on the inner rim and a lovely bell flower and dart design on the handle. There is an identical in the South Kensington Museum in London, UK (now it's a part of a V&A Museum).

    A great example of 18th Century English porcelain with a late 19th or early 20th Century collector label.
