  • Description
    Swedish Gustavian Neoclassical 830 silver coffee set. Made by Samuel Pettersson in Linköping, 1903-5. This set comprises coffeepot, creamer, and sugar with tongs.

    Ovoid with half-fluting. Raised leaf-and-dart borders and leaf-mounted paw supports. Coffeepot cover domed with cast bird finial. Sugar cover hinged and raised with leaf and patera-mounted semi-circular rope finial. Tongs u-form and ribbed with oval jaws.

    Fully marked including maker’s stamp, city stamp, and date letters for 1903 (tongs), 1904 (coffeepot), and 1905 (creamer and sugar). Very good condition.
