Chrysanthemum sterling silver tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round serpentine well engraved with coat of arms. Cast rim in form of dense overlapping leaves interspersed with flowerheads. A beautiful piece in the historic Japonesque pattern, which was first produced in 1880. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 5716, and director’s letter C (1902-7). Very good condition.
