Gorgeous Victorian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1881. Low and curved with dense repousse rinceaux ornament. Plain mouth and base; 4 integral leaf supports. Gilt-washed interior with loose and dynamic leaves and flowers engraved in well. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6564 (first produced in 1881), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.
