Rare sterling silver cheese scoop in Olive pattern. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1870. The classic terminal comprising two elongated c-scrolls joined by vertical leaves to form an oval. Deep fluted bowl. Nice balance. Olive was a popular pattern in the 1860s and ’70s but pieces by Tiffany are rare. Marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”. Very good condition.
