Set of 3 Modern sterling silver tumblers. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1941. Each: Straight and tapering sides. Applied emblem for the New York Athletic Club and engraved shaded monogram.
On underside is engraved script presentation for “Trapshooting / Season 1941”. The dates are Feb. 29, March 29, and October 26. But not December 7 (that is, Pearl Harbor Day), which is the day the real shooting began for most Americans. Poignant prewar barware.
Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 52751, and director’s letter m. Very good condition.
