Victorian Classical sterling silver tea tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1880. Rectangular with curved corners. On shoulder dense low-relief leafing scroll and flowerhead border, which continues its profusion on to the bracket end handles, which have bead and scroll mounts. Interlaced script monogram. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 5970 (first produced in 1880), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

Overall dimensions: H 2 1/4 x W 30 x D 20 in. Very heavy weight: 263 troy ounces. #BZ820
