Silver bowl and spoon in fitted case by Irish firm West & Son
Irish, 1912
Bowl: Height 9cm, width 16cm, depth 10cm
Spoon: Length 15cm, width 3cm
Case: Height 11cm, width 17cm, depth 16cm
This fine trophy-like silver sugar bowl is by the Irish silversmiths West & Son, based in Dublin since 1720. The bowl features a narrow foot and twin scrolled handles. A silver spoon, bearing a London hallmark, accompanies the bowl, and both are held within an ornate fitted case signed for West & Son.
