Description
This is a beautiful set of six handcrafted sterling silver wine goblets produced by William Spratling in the 1940’s. Each goblet is in excellent condition with absolutely no issues to mention. Each goblet is signed with the WS cypher. William Spratling’s unique blending of traditional Mexican Colonial and Pre-Columbian designs with modern forms have created a place for him amongst the Masters of 20th Century Modern Silver world wide. Numerous books have been written either by or about him and he was the subject of the film, “The Man From New Orleans”, in 1948.
