17TH CENTURY LILLE TAPESTRY
Verdure of a formal garden with a tree in the centre, flowers and plants growing at its base, two parrots sitting on it's
branches and standing next to another fallen tree. On the left are steps leading up to a garden pavilion surrounded by walls surmounted with fruit trees growing in pots and palms planted in urns.
On the right hand side in the distance is a cloister with fountains and formal gardens laid out in front of it.
The tapestry is in very good condition with excellent colours and is finely woven in wool and silk.
It has been backed with a fine linen backing and is ready to hang.
