Flowerbasket embroidery in shadow box frame. The flowerbasket is made with felt, silk, velvet, chenille and wire stitched to a felt ground using silk thread. The piece is worked in 3 dimensions, raised, up to a few inches, from the ground. Beautifully worked flowers with a butterfly at the top.
