Fantastic Kayseri Carpet
-
Description
A great old Turkish carpet from the Kayseri region in Central Turkey, with a highly unusual design and color palette. Though inspired by classical themes, Kayseri carpets can display very creative, whimsical interpretations of age-old designs. This is certainly one of the best of this type and is in excellent state of preservation.
