Signed (l.r.): H.A. Driscole, ca. 1890-1900
Provenance: Private collection, purchased 1995.
Driscole was known for painting primarily fish and posing them being captured in their natural habitat. He paid great attention to detail as seen here of a brook trout jumping out of the water taking a fly.
