Offered for sale is an original watercolor painting on paper framed under glass by Peruvian artist Hernán Sosa (b.1965). This figurative watercolor depicts a female nude who is represented as if tied up with rope. The work gives the illusion that there is a central painting that floats above a background. The painting is signed in the lower right corner of the floating central nude portion. The painting is presented under glass in a custom rustic wood frame, wired, and ready to hang.
Hernan Sosa is an award-winning artist based in Peru whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in Mexico. He cites the human figure as being the basis of his works. While realism is his "starting point", Sosa's expressive figurative compositions are distinctly abstract.
