Attributable to Johann Heinrich Martens (1815-1843)
Showing early 19th century visitors to the famous baraque gardens with their spectacular water features. Now a world heritage site the gardens were created at the end of the 17th century under Landgrave Charles of Hesse-Kassel (reg. 1677-1730).
