Description
Fine and large academic male nude panting in the style of David, French, c.1815. The subject is in three-quarter pose seated on a studio block. The gilded frame is period and is particularly high in quality. There is a subtle incised signature "David" on the lower left but is thought to have been added later.

Image size 30" high by 24.5" wide.
