This Mid-Century Modernist Painting of Ouroboroses in Gouache on Natural Fiber Paper originates from the United States during the 20th Century. This piece features a minimal composition with symbolic imagery in gouache on natural fiber paper. Depicting two snakes eating their own tails, known as an ouroboros, one in black and the other in cerulean blue over a yellow ochre ground color. With a minimal composition and use of materials, this piece has a stable and grounded presence. Fitted in a gilt-wood gallery frame. Signed on the upper righthand corner. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
