Description
This 1969 abstract painting, juxtaposing reds, oranges and blues, is the work of Norman Ives (1923-1978). An artist and graphic designer based in New Haven, he was also a publisher of fine portfolios of many of the century's top modernist artists. Liquitex on canvas set into an aluminium frame, the painting is signed and dated on the verso.
