Description
This original etching was executed by the master printmaker Paul Jouve in France, circa 1930. The work presents a supine stylized leopard licking one of its paws in etched chiaroscuro strokes. With its beautiful detailing and iconically Art Deco sensibility, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first-rate art work from the period, as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. The piece is hand signed in pencil "Paul Jouve". It comes presented in a custom walnut gallery frame and is in excellent vintage condition.
