Description
This original etching was executed by the master printmaker Paul Jouve in France, circa 1925. It offers a strolling black panther against a background of rolling hills in grisaille tones. With its beautiful detailing and iconically Art Deco sensibility, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first-rate art work from the period, as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. The piece is signed "Jouve" in the plate and comes presented in a custom burled carpathian elm gallery frame. It is in excellent vintage condition.
