Perry’s Victory on Lake Erie in 1813
Unsigned, ca. 1840-1850.
Drawn after a painting by Thomas Birch (1779-1851) or from the engraving by Alexander Lawson (1773-1846). Both active in Philadelphia.
Watercolor on paper.
22 ½” h x 26 ½” w (frame)
Great condition with a period eglomisé glass panel and gilt frame.
