Description
Snow covered Mount Hood located in Oregon is the subject of this oil painting on board. Pine trees in the background with a lake in the foreground surrounded by cliffs and rocks, and a cabin on the back side of the lake, round out the subject matter. Painting is in a rectangular period gold leaf frame and bordered by a one inch linen matte.

The signature in the lower left hand corner is difficult to read but appears to be "R Jones" with a clear date of "1907".

There is some touch-up restoration to the gold leaf frame.
Painting is in nice, sharp, crisp paint.
