Description
"On the Couch" is an animal portrait in oil paint on canvas of the artist's Jack Russell terrier. He sits, looking at you from the back of the sofa among the antique furnishings in the artist's living room in Woodstock, Vermont before her move to coastal Maine. Sandra Eames, originally from California, trained in Florence, Italy and has had many successful shows at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, Vermont, as well as success among private clients and other art galleries. She always chooses fine, gold colored frames for her art. She loves to paint farm and domestic animals and New England landscapes, finding inspiration from her days in art studios in Italy.
