PROTEST, 1974
Oil on cotton canvas

The inspiration from this comes from her involvement in the Civil Rights Movement. Mrs. Zuber’s husband, Paul B. Zuber was a leading Civil Rights attorney having won a landmark desegregation case in New Rochelle, NY in 1961. This is her interpretation of the various protests she encountered and was part of during that time.
