    Signed and dated (l.r.): Chas. C. Curran, 1905.
    Oil on canvas. 20 ¼” x 17 ¼” with frame.
    Excellent condition, in original carved gilt frame. Charles Curran was best known as an Impressionist figure, genre and landscape painter. He studied at the National Academy, Arts Student League, as well as Académie Julian in Paris. His works are highly prized among collectors and institutions. This small charming portrait of a young girl exemplifies his talents as an Impressionist portrait painter.
