A French still-life framed oil painting from the 19th century, depicting flowers set on a Rococo table. Born in France during the politically dynamic 19th century, this exquisite oil painting depicts elegant flowers, some of them displayed in a blue and white vase while others are delicately placed on a Rococo table with marble top. The softness of the palette is beautifully contracted by the red curtain that drapes the right side of the composition. Set inside a carved giltwood frame perfectly complimenting the scene, this French 19th century still-life painting will bring a graceful presence to any home, perhaps hung above a chest-of-drawers, demilune or console table.
