Beautiful oil on canvas bucolic cottage with sheep and chickens. Signed lower left. Circa 1890. Nicely framed in a reproduction cove frame with a bronze antique finish. Overall framed measurements are 23 by 30.75 inches.

Gabriel Thompson was a British painter of landscapes who was born in 1861 and died in 1935. His work is represented in the Art Museum of Wales.
