Antique Italian painting from the end of the 18th century. Neoclassical artwork, oil on canvas, depicting a Roman historical subject of good pictorial quality. Painting full of pathos, enriched by the presence of numerous finely painted characters. Painting adorned with a 19th century wooden frame, carved and gilded (bronze tint) of beautiful decoration. The flooring with geometric motifs is pleasant, the scene that develops horizontally is elegant (see photo). Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-lining, replacement of the frame and color recovery in some points (see photo). Painting of great size and impact, for antique dealers and interior decorators. In good condition. Sight size H 94.5 x W 143 cm.
