Description
We are pleased to sell works on behalf of Guusje Bertholet. Guusje is an extremely talented, Dutch artist specialising in portrait painting. Her portraits are on a very large, dramatic scale but beautifully intimate & detailed. This attention to detail perhaps stems from her work as an illustrator, Ted the Green Grasshopper was shown at New York State Museum, and is a really lovely representation of this charming insect.
