Didier Lapène, born May 20, 1964 in Aureilhan, (Hautes-Pyrénées), lives and works in Biarritz.

1986 to 1992 Studied at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris in the studio of Pierre Carron.
1991 to 1993 Assistant to Guy Peellaert, he participated in the creation of monumental pastels including “Gershwin“ for Alain Resnais.
1994 Resident at the Château de Lourmarin
1996 Resident at the Ferme Saint Siméon, Honfleur
