Original oil on canvas painting of a three mast clipper under full sail. Signed by the artist lower right. Condition is very good to excellent. Mild stretcher bar wear top. Circa 1980. The painting is housed in a solid oak wood frame in walnut stain. Overall framed measurements are 26.25 by 38.25 inches. Provenance: A Sarasota, Florida estate
K. Maskell was a prolific marine painter of the late 2Oth century. The clipper ship, in a a variety of sea conditions was his specialty. -
