Mid-Century large-scale painting on panel of a Trompe l'oeil of stable equipment.
In the manner of 17th Century Trompe l'oeil artist Jacob Bilteus (1633 - 1681).
It has been suggested that this panel may have been created as an advertisement or set dressing for Hermes. -
