Lauro Lessio Italian 1970s Abstract oil paintings

A pair of large abstract oil paintings by the Italian artist Lauro Lessio. In the "pittura metafisica" style which had a resurrection in the 1970s after it's origins in the 1920' and 1930's. Both works are signed in the lower right and retain an exhibition sticker on the verso from a National Exhibit at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence.
