A pair of WILLIAM EDGAR FATER [also known as M.E. FAGER] reverse mirror paintings framed and each signed by artist. American design, 1950. He hails from Chicago. Each rectangular mirror plate depicting an abundant bouquet of voluptuous floral blooms and berries amid broad leafed foliage, their stems gathered in a bow of undulating ribbon, realized in black and crimson reverse painting overlaid with metal leaf. Framed by a silver painted wooden bolection frame with deep curves rising to a single slender lip.
