Ralph Della-Volpe attended the National Academy of Design in New York as well as the Arts Students League. His career as an artist has spanned 70 years. He is considered by many as a colorist painter. His use of simple shapes and designs woven with his beautiful exuberance of color is his signature. His works are in the collections of the Art Students League in New York, the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. as well as the Slater Museum in Norwich, Connecticut.
