A visually stunning aboriginal dot painting depicting "witchetty grub dreaming", a dream time story of collecting the grubs for foods in the western desert of Australia. The dots were used extensively in different color to form the positive and negative space and image to showcase a communal gathering. It is both tribal and contemporary, a strong statement.
This piece was purchased in the late 90s from a gallery in Perth. -
