Description
Using his unique approach of layering diverse techniques Berlin creates the opportunity of "seeing into portraits". He offers a "portal into the creation of [an] enigma". The stunning nuances of blue are hand ground by the artist from the finest pigments. Classic Blue draws values and influences from the earliest European cave painters via classical Greece and Edo period Japanese woodblock printing. Channeling his ancestral memory Berlin has been called to create this wonderful piece.
