Well executed portrait of a man with light green, white and orange hash marks on his face and embellished eyes, ears, and lips. The painting is signed lower left in silver marker: Sean Earley. Additionally, on the verso is the title, "Someone", and Earley's Brooklyn, NY address and phone number. The image size is 12 inches x 12 inches.
Sean Earley, (1953-1992), was a Texas born illustrator/painter who began his career as a commercial illustrator and gradually transitioned into a fine artist. His works were exhibited in galleries from Texas to New York City in the U.S. and in several cities in Italy, where he had been an Artist in residence at the Palazzo dei Diamanti, in Ferrara. He is widely thought to have died of complications from AIDS. -
