-
Description
A framed vintage gelatin silver photograph print by American surrealist photographer Arthur Tress (1940-). Entitled "Making Leaves, Cold Spring, New York", the work was created in 1978. The two intertwine forks on bed invoke a strangely erotic American gothic feel, a typical style of the artist. It was signed by the artist and marked artist proof on the back. The antique silver frame was chosen to compliment the imagery. The image only is 10.5"w x 11'h. With frame is 23"x23".
This image was published in the artist's first retrospective monograph: Arthur Tress: Fantastic Voyage. 2001. Plate 73 on page 132. -
