Description
From the observation tower of 30 Rockefeller Center, The Chrysler Building is seen looking east.
Its spire is bathed in a golden glow from direct light.
An orange sunset appears to its left because the sun sets in the west. The picture is somewhat mind-boggling, but it is a straight shot, not a composite of two images. Photographer Mitchell Funk shot a reflection in the window that synthesized an east and west view with direct light and sunset in the same picture.
Signed, dated, and numbered 2/15, lower right recto. Other sizes are available and the fine art photograph is unframed and printed later. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper
