A fashionable woman in a solid yellow coat passes in front of an oversized Fashion Model On a Green Billboard on New York Madison Avenue. In the foreground, an equally solid yellow cab blurs across the lower left quadrant of the picture plane. Street Photographer Mitchell Funk's image is as much a statement of the interaction of solid flat color becoming an abstraction as it is about a document of Manhattan's lively street life.
