Not just for its creative graphic use of color and design but because it was done during the analog period of photography without Photoshop or digital manipulation. Mitchell Funk pioneered color photography with work that dates back to the late 1960s. He is known for a variety of styles, including negative color, multiple exposures, radical use of bold colors and Sci-Fi photography.

Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum.
