A collection of nine original Art Deco pochoir printed designs of colourful abstract floral motifs for textiles, wallpapers etc. by Edouard Benedictus, stencilled by Jean Saudé, Published by Albert Lévy, Paris, 1925 presented in painted shadow box frames.
Edouard Benedictus was a French designer, painter, writer and chemist started his career in the Art Nouveau period but was highly receptive to the stylistic evolution started in 1912 which later became Art Deco. He made a significant contribution to Pavillion de l'Ambassade Francaise in the Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in Paris in 1925. - More Information
