Description
This Art Deco Period hand-pulled pochoir print depicts an evening in Venice. It shows women's fashions in 1925 beneath a starry sky and a large golden disc representing the moon. One woman is about to step onto a festively covered gondola, the other woman follows wearing a mask. They both have elongated silhouettes, voluminous coats, and bobbed hair. The stencil process is precise and elegant, with muted colors in a minimalist style. The print is unsigned. It is framed in a contemporary metal frame with good matting and protective glass. The sight measurements are: 8.25"W x 10.5"H; the overall measurements are listed below.
